At the film festival, I got to watch two very interesting films that changed what I know about the world. The first film was called "Farewell Ferris Wheel" and it was about the Mexican workers who worked at fairs. They didn't get paid as much as they should and their living conditions weren't the greatest. They lived in dirty RV's and sometimes they didn't even have power. None of them complained though for fear of losing their jobs and disappointing their families who are the reason that they had to get this job. The second film was called "Big Sonia" and it was about an elderly woman who survived the holocaust. She works at a tailor shop which was her husbands until he passed away. In this film I learned a lot about what it was like in the time of the holocaust and also a lot about how one person really can make a difference.
